Baby Teething Biscuits
1 cup Infant Rice Cereal
1 cup Flour (white or wheat)
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp Coconut Oil (or vegetable oil)
1 mashed banana (or ⅓ cup of your favorite baby food)
If it is too thick, you can add a tbsp at a time of water breast milk, formula, apple juice, etc.
- Preheat your oven to 425 for later.
- Mix everything together in a medium sized bowl. If the mixture is too thick, add one of the liquids listed above. If it is too wet, add a bit more flour or baby cereal. Mix well until a dough forms. I mixed it with my hands!
- Roll out on a floured surface until about 1/4"-1/2" thick. You can cut out shapes using a cookie cutter or press it into a cookie sheet and cut them into squares.
- Place the baby biscuits on a cookie sheet lined with parchment and bake for 12-15 minutes.
*I tried making both small and large biscuits but I preferred larger ones without points that he could break off (like hearts, circles, or flowers instead of stars) because he could only gnaw off little parts at a time; less of a choking hazard.
What is your favorite teething remedy for your little ones?
