Baby Teething Biscuits

Some babies handle teething like a champ! Other little ones...well let's just say it is not the most lovely experience we will have with our little ones. These teething biscuits were inspired by Sweet Treats and More where I added a few different options so that you can make these teething biscuits no matter what you have in your pantry!

Baby Teething Biscuits

1 cup Infant Rice Cereal
1 cup Flour (white or wheat)
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp Coconut Oil (or vegetable oil)
1 mashed banana (or ⅓ cup of your favorite baby food)
If it is too thick, you can add a tbsp at a time of water breast milk, formula, apple juice, etc.

  1. Preheat your oven to 425 for later.
  2. Mix everything together in a medium sized bowl. If the mixture is too thick, add one of the liquids listed above. If it is too wet, add a bit more flour or baby cereal. Mix well until a dough forms. I mixed it with my hands!
  3. Roll out on a floured surface until about 1/4"-1/2" thick. You can cut out shapes using a cookie cutter or press it into a cookie sheet and cut them into squares.
  4. Place the baby biscuits on a cookie sheet lined with parchment and bake for 12-15 minutes.
Let them cool completely and store in air-tight container (they can also be stored in the freezer).

*I tried making both small and large biscuits but I preferred larger ones without points that he could break off (like hearts, circles, or flowers instead of stars) because he could only gnaw off little parts at a time; less of a choking hazard.

What is your favorite teething remedy for your little ones?
