I can't believe how fast this channel is growing! I'm so glad that everyone loved my last video- you all are just too sweet :) I wanted to make a morning routine video but as I was making it, I realized that....well....this just isn't me. So instead, I gave you my REAL morning routine. I mean, let's be honest here, right? #RealTalk :)

Easy and Affordable DIY Mother's Day Gift Ideas!

My very first Mother's Day is right around the corner and I can't wait! When I was younger, I was the Queen of easy DIY projects for my parents. I mean....they may or may not have looked like a two year old did them, but I still tried! These days, I'm loving the craft scene and Pinterest just makes it that much better. I'm all for buying a meaningful gift for the people in my life, but crafting it can be just as fun, all while saving money! I've compiled a list of easy and affordable gifts that you can make your dear Mother for this special day.

Soft Garlic Parmesan Pretzels

I don't really have a story behind these pretzels, so I'm just going to tell you right upfront that I'm sorry. This recipe is way too good for words, and you'll probably eat the whole batch of buttery goodness in one day. So I'm sorry, but....not sorry. Sometimes we need to indulge in a delicious snack and these Parmesan Garlic Pretzels are just too good to resist!

Picmonkey Tips and Tricks: How to Add, Highlight, and Curve Text

There are two types of people in this world: Photoshop People, and PicMonkey People. I'm a PicMonkey Person, and so are most other bloggers in today's world. Photoshop has a ton of virtual buttons and knobs that are oh-so-tempting but, just like a kid in a toy isle, if you press too many of those buttons you can get yourself into a whole lot of trouble. I would rather avoid that whole photo catastrophe and take it easy, yet professional, with PicMonkey instead.

Mah-Mah || Week in Review

March. 14. 2015
What in the world is happening in this picture, you might ask? My little nugget monster! ....Let me explain. We went to the temple today before Avery leaves for his mission on the 25th of this month. While his family and my family were in the temple, Cayson and I enjoyed a beautiful walk in the park and a fun little trip to Wendy's! We just got a drink, a cup of chili, and some nuggets. Those little blobs are nugget chunks. On the window seal. Friends, once he decided he was all done with his chicken, he put nugget chunks on the window seal. I looked over and saw his little line of nuggs and I was like....what?? Oh heavens. I sure do have a funny little kid {and a rather organized one too!}.

I Thank God for the Rain

Rain. It's been tip tapping on my window the last few days. I've never quite understood why a rainy day automatically triggers a sense of gloom in so many hearts. As a society, we've plagued a rainy day with feelings of a heavy heart and a sense of the blues. So many people let this cloudy day turn into a gloomy day which eventually ruins their day. But......why? Why do we let water falling from the sky flip that switch to bitterness? Why not dance? I believe that we should rejoice the rain! It's relieving to have a cloudy cover that gives the sun a break. Joy is listening to the tip tap of droplets. Oh, the simple happiness that came from the "raindrop races" on the window of my younger years. I love the puddle splashing memories that are tucked away in the back of my mind. And never to forget what follows- rainbows and the promises they hold. It's peaceful and exciting, all at the same time.  All of this, graciously given by the rain.

I Thank God for the Light of Christ

Our My Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ Loves Me Us Quotes LDS Church Religious SpiritualI think Jesus talks to God about us. I wonder what They talk about...if I'm reaching His standards, the blessings He has in store for me, the potential that He sees in me. I'm sure God has so many beautiful plans for my life, I just need to figure it out; or, rather, I just need to listen. Listen and Act. I can't even comprehend how much they love me, my family, and every single one of you.

Today, I'm grateful for my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and for the love that they hold. Or....the love that they give. They have so much love, and they give it all out. I hope I am able to do that one day. I hope to be able to love everyone and everything. The Light of Christ is in every single thing that is good in this world. He is light. He is the sun, the smiles, and the laughter. Even in the darkest of nights, He is the moon and the stars, the tiny bit of light peaking through. When I'm alone, He is in my heart and blesses my spirit. He loves us. He loves me. He loves you.

I Thank God for My Dad

My dad realized long ago that the best way to show love to his daughters, was to genuinely love their mother first
Yesterday was a day for my mother, and today it's for my father. He is literally the goofiest person you will ever meet in your entire life. Seriously. He's so funny and brings so much happiness to our home. He's always humble as he kindly reminds us to love one another. He helps me remember what it's like to stand in someone else's shoes; he's a true peacemaker.

I Thank God for My Mom

My mother teaches me everyday about love, true beauty, and kindness without saying a single word because she doesn't have to; she simply exudes it. I thank God for my Mother.I know a lot of people that hate their parents. I know a lot of people that love their parents. I belong with the latter. I have been blessed with amazing parents. Like.....guys. I'm seriously blessed. Today, I wanted to talk about my mom, and tomorrow, my dad.

Mom, mother, mommy- she's everything. She reminds me of a warm drink on a shivery night. Or a bouquet of surprise roses at just the right time. Everything that is wonderful, peaceful, and beautiful in this world; that's my mother.
